Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookery book author and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina began writing Nuclear energy and policy documents for the White House. After initially finding the job fascinating and intellectually stimulating, she soon became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. It was a huge success over the course of 18 years until she decided to let it go. She then began the first book. Many different cookbooks and magazines came later. Her Food Network television program also was launched and soon became a hit. She also sells everything from cooking equipment to supplies and containers. Ina did not go to a cooking institute and hasn't had any experience in a restaurant. Ina is completely self-taught. Ina's easygoing style of entertaining as well as her simple cooking style are well known. Her most well-known dishes include Skillet roasted lemon chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac & cheese.
